Teacher contact is now only keystrokes away and information on the lessons or about student progress available on a personalized, student web page. 

The teachers and student stay in contact with each other through a student web page, lesson pages, and by e-mail.  The student web page contains a personal report card with all weekly quiz scores, links to the teachers and hyperlinks to lesson plan help.   The student web page is always available to: the student; parents; assigned teachers; proctors and the webmaster responsible for posting the information.

Posted weekly scores reflect the per cent correct on weekly quizzes.  Every attempt is made to respect the family's privacy concerning the schooling of their child.  The student page may be accessed by you and whomever you give the site address to at any time of the day or night and teacher lessons and student quiz scores are updated on a regular basis. 

We respect the privacy of those who do not feel comfortable with such communication and in general, feel it is best to keep communications to teacher/student unless the teacher has a class which would be better served with a cooperative effort.  

Student Assignments

Information and assignments is posted to the student's individual web site and/or to a class web site.  Assignments and instruction will complement and correlate with the LFBC Study Guide assignments in the student's lesson books. Pupils will be notified of such updates and be directed to the site by way of email.  Depending on the class, the assignments could be reading assignments, writing tasks, research, working long distance with other members of the the class on a specific project, listening to a broadcast on the internet, or any of a number of activities the teacher may design and assign.

The student's individual web site links to the six classes and teachers.   Our teachers are carefully chosen and information about them will be posted on our site for all to see.  Any comments regarding such communication should be made to the director, Mr. Miller.
